Pakistan need 128 to win against Bangladesh 

After a fifty from Najmul Hossain Shanto other Bangladesh batsmen left with a frustrating batting display that powered them to a meager 127-8 in must win Super 12 game of the ICC T20 World Cup at the Adelaide Oval on Sunday.

Najmul hit a 48-ball 52, his second T20I fifty, while Afif Hossain remained unbeaten on a 20-ball 24.  

Shaheen Shah Afridi was the pick among the bowlers, scalping 4-22, and Shadab Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Haris Roufended with 2 and one wicket each, respectively.

Earlier, Bangladesh decided to bat first after winning the toss in the virtual quarterfinal after the Netherlands dumped South Africa, handing them an upset 13-run defeat in the day’s first game at the same venue.

Both Pakistan and Bangladesh, level on four points, needed the Dutch victory to infuse power in their bid for a semifinal spot and now play a virtual quarterfinal.

Bangladesh have made three changes from their previous loss to India through and bring in Soumya Sarkar, Nasum Ahmed and Ebadot Hossain in the team.
